The winner of the Aarhus Art Prize Solo Award 2024 was Tora Schultz. As part of the award, Schultz will exhibit at Kunsthal Aarhus in 2025.
In her artistic practice, Tora Schultz is interested in challenging our habitual and routine understanding of the world around us. She does so by transforming familiar objects that we tend to see in a particular light. By destabilising these firmly established notions, she paves the way for new and surprising perceptions of gender, power relations, rights and political positions.
The exhibition at Kunsthal Aarhus will be Schultz’s first major solo presentation in Aarhus.
