How can art and science inspire each other?
Join artist Rikke Luther in conversation with Professor in Biological Oceanography Katherine Richardson for an afternoon exploring art, science, and the transformations shaping the Earth’s landscapes.
The conversation will focus on Rikke Luther’s current exhibition Here’s… Mud In Your Eye at Kunsthal Aarhus and her new book Mud… and the Earth System – Thinking the Ocean-Lands. Together, they will explore how art and science can inspire and strengthen each other, opening new ways of understanding the world.
The exhibition and book were created in close collaboration with Earth Science researchers, examining large-scale landscape changes caused by industry, mining, and other human interventions. New mudscapes emerge – reshaping our relationship with nature and our visions for the future.
As part of the book celebration, Kunsthal Aarhus will serve a refreshing drink.
