Kunsthal Aarhus Book Club is a new initiative focused on exploring the process of book publishing as an artistic practice and decoding the dynamics of art book publishing. We will focus on works published by smaller, independent publishers who challenge the unwritten rules, experiment with the medium and play with the content to expand our understanding of what it means to publish a book. Alongside the Kunsthal Aarhus Book Club, Kunsthal Aarhus Book Club will launch a monthly subscription solution and organise events where selected publishers present their work. This gives book club members the opportunity to engage in dialogue with the editors and gain a deeper insight into the publishers' practices.

The project is organised by Sara Arroyo in collaboration with Kunsthal Aarhus.
