Learning-free area: Let children experience art

Free entry

Children must abide to the rules set by the Ministry of Education. They must be educated in the use of complementary colours and bird-eye perspective. Yet, once in a while why not put the goals in a place, where the sun never shines and let children experience art as a wondrous gateway to a world without goal or measure. Therefore, we invite all children and their adults to an art hunt in our two exhibitions The Work of Art and The Spiritualization of Self-empowerment and KONKURS EKSPERTEN. Start the conversation with inspiration from our ”art hunt material”, which you can get at the café and bring with you. We encourage children to draw their very own ”sick prophet” or ”bankrupt expert”. And, to comply with the performance society in some way or other, you can hand in your drawing and the café staff will reward you with a fancy diploma along with the title of autorised art hunter. The bonfire in Aarhus Kunsthal Sculpture Park will be lid creating the perfect set-up for roasting marshmallows, while adults can warm themeselves with mulled wine.
