Kunsthal Aarhus and Project Manager Peter Ole Pedersen have won Bikubenfonden’s Exhibition Award Vision 2019. In connection with the award, Kunsthal Aarhus will receive DKK 5 million. This means that we are able to realise an art project of unprecedented dimensions: A series of innovative installations will completely transform Kunsthal Aarhus.
Therefore, we invite you to a celebration with chilli-infused drinks tomorrow, Friday, at 3 pm at Kunsthal Aarhus.
The art project Go Extreme investigates extreme sport, a wild and extensive world that can involve profound spirituality and dedication, but also fierce fights and total exhaustion. The project is about body and mind and explores what the human body is capable of under extreme conditions and when facing radical challenges. Go Extreme is scheduled to be presented in mid-2021.
NB! Run a marathon of openings with starting point at Kunsthal Aarhus. Warm up with us before you move on to Galerie MøllerWitt, who is opening the solo exhibition 8+1 by Jesper Rasmussen 4 pm. By 5 pm you will arrive for the opening of Andreas Albrectsen’s Escape Shift Return at Charlotte Fogh Gallery. The finish line is ARoS for the opening of Tomorrow is the Question at approximately 6 pm.
Free sweatbans for the first 20 guests.
