Anselm Franke is a curator and writer based in Berlin. He is Head of Visual Art and Film at the Haus der Kulturen der Welt, where he co-curated The Whole Earth. California and the Disappearance of the Outside (with Diedrich Diederichsen), and After Year Zero. Geographies of Collaboration (with Annett Busch, both 2013), as well as Forensis (with Eyal Weizman, 2014). He was part of the curatorial team of the Anthropocene Project at HKW, and the Anthropocene Observatory, a project with Territorial Agency and Armin Linke. In 2014, he was Chief Curator of the Shanghai Biennale Social Factory and in 2012 of the Taipei Biennial, entitled Modern Monsters / Death and Life of Fiction.
